CAIRO - 23 February 2021: The Culture Houses and Palaces, affiliated to the New Valley Culture Palace of the Central Upper Egypt Region, headed by writer Mohamed Nabil, continue to present many different workshops and seminars, as part of the cultural plan in the governorate.

 

Director General of Culture in the New Valley governorate Mohsen Hassab said that a seminar was held at the Children's Culture Palace on how to avoid infection with COVID-19, while the Balat Culture House launched a wall magazine entitled “Rationalization of Water Use”.

 

Hassab added that the Library of Eastern Bulaq carried out a plastic arts workshop using clay, in the presence of a number of participants.

 

He confirmed that the February plan included several poetry evenings, as part of the activities of the Literature Club in the Mott Culture Palace and the Palace of Culture House. This is in addition to a poetry evening for children at the Children's and Youth Library.

 

The Sana'a Culture House also presented a competition for children in free reading. Hassab indicated the continuity of various cultural activities in the governorate, while adhering to all precautionary measures set by the state to battle COVID-19.
