Mohammed Hassanein Heikal Foundation for Arab Journalism announces opening of nomination period for Arab Journalism Award

CAIRO – 1 February 2021: The Mohamed Hassanein Heikal Foundation for Arab Journalism announces the opening of the nomination period for the Arab Journalism Award on February 1, and for a period of three months, provided that the deadline for application is May 31, 2021.

The foundation offers two incentive awards to celebrate excellence in journalistic work. The value of each award is LE250,000. The awards are granted annually to the winners on the birth anniversary of Heikal,  September 23.

Through these awards, the Mohamed Hassanein Heikal Foundation aims to honor the journalists of the Arab world who have distinguished themselves in their journalistic work during the year 2020.

These awards aim to help them develop their skills, and to complete the means and tools required by this ancient profession to keep pace with everything new in a world that does not stop developing.
