Bayt al-Suhaymi hosts concert for Maestro Band on Dec. 10

CAIRO – 10 December 2020: The Bayt Al-Suhaymi Innovation Center on Al-Muizz Street, affiliated to the Cultural Development Fund sector, will host a concert on December 10 at 7 p.m. for the Maestro Band led by Iman Junaidi, while taking all preventive measures to battle COVID-19.

The group was formed three years ago by the artist Iman Junaidi, to be the first woman to lead an Egyptian band consisting of about 40 musicians. She received many awards and certificates of appreciation from Beni Suef Governorate and University, besides, acclaims from top composers.

She won 7 prizes, including the second prize in the Best Maestro competition at the Fayoum Festival, with the participation of 32 male maestros, and the Ibdaa Festival in its sixth edition.
