CAIRO – 23 November 2020: The Egyptian Publishers Union, headed by Said Abdo, will launch the first children’s book fair in the garden of the Egyptian Public Library during the period from November 25 to December 6, 2020.

 

The book fair will be attended by a group of publishers, with a value of L.E 2,250 for the half-pergolas pavilion.

 

The exhibition consists of pergolas sized 5m x 5 m, in addition to books worth L.E 250 that will be gifted to the library.

 

The Egyptian Publishers Union clarified that participation in the book fair is limited to publishers of children's books and educational aids only.

 

It is noteworthy that the General Egyptian Book Organization launched the first opera exhibition running from November 19 – 28. The exhibition is held in the El-Hanager Theater on an area of ​​850 square meters, with the participation of 32 publishing houses and sectors of the Ministry of Culture, including the General Authority for Culture Palaces, Dar al-Kotob and Dar al-Maaref.

 

That exhibition is the first of its kind to be held in the square of the Egyptian Opera House with the participation of 32 publishing houses specializing in all fields of science and knowledge, and it also includes the participation of three sectors of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture represented by the General Egyptian Book Organization.
