Egypt’s Dar al-Maref to launch 1st local book fair since COVID-19 outbreak

CAIRO – 29 July 2020: Dar al-Maref Foundation announced the launch of its fourth summer book fair at Dar al-Marif Foundation in Alexandria on August 20. This comes as part of the initiative "A Nation that Reads ... A Rising Family".

The Foundation offers discounts of up to 40 percent on various publications.

The Egyptian Publishers Association addressed its members to participate in the book fair.

This book fair is the first local fair to be launched since the COVID-19 outbreak in March 2020, which led to the suspension of cultural activities and the closure of exhibitions and libraries.
