CAIRO - 30 October 2019: The Egyptian band Sharmoofers has dug its name in the global music scene by winning the British Boisdale Music Award as the Best Youth Band in the world in 2019.

Sharmoofers was voted Best New International Band in the Boisdale Music Awards that is presented by British musician, artist and broadcaster Jools Holland.

The band’s duo Ahmed Bahaa and Mo el-Arkan received the award during the official ceremony held in London.
