CAIRO - 25 July 2019: The National Folklore Ensemble is participating in the Carolina Festival in the United States of America, which runs until July 30.

During its participation in the grand art festival, the band performs a series of dances reflecting an authentic part of Egyptian traditions and heritage.

The National Folklore Ensemble has recently completed its participation in the art events held in Canada from July 12 to 16, as part of the celebrations of the Egyptian-Canadian Cultural Association. The performances were a great success and achieved the appraisal of the audience.

Furthermore, a statement issued by the Ministry of Culture praised the international participation of the National Folk Art Ensemble during its artistic tour in Canada and America, stating that the national ensembles that represent the Egyptian heritage abroad are ambassadors of the Egyptian soft power.

The statement also pointed out the importance of arts in communicating with the world through cultural exchange and through a dialogue of civilizations.

It is worth mentioning that the National Folklore Ensemble is one of the art groups affiliated with the cultural production affairs sector.
