Artificial archaeological samples related to the Ancient Egyptian civilization
CAIRO – 1 June 2017: The Ministry of Antiquities has granted a group of archaeological reproductions to the Museum of African Civilizations in Senegal to be showcased permanently in a special hall allocated for Egyptian civilization.
The reproductions were made by the Antiquities Ministry and granted to the museum in order to enhance cooperation between Egypt and different African countries.
By showcasing archaeological reproductions of items related to ancient Egyptian civilization in the museum, Egypt is showing a side of its ancient civilization that could lure tourists to Egypt, el-Teaby added.
The package contains 23 reproductions including: The Seated Scribe, some of King Tutankhamun relics, some archaeological items related to the age of King Akhenaten and a statue of Akhenaten and others samples.
