CAIRO – 23 May 2017: The world-renowned archaeologist Zahi Hawass will present a daily program on Egyptian radio station Radio Hits this Ramadan.
The radio show, entitled “Antiquities and Secrets with Zahi Hawass”, will address and discuss Ramadan customs and traditions from the Fatimid dynasty (969-1171) until the French Campaign (1798-1801).
Through the five-minute long episodes, Hawass plans to highlight the fact that despite the technological and communication revolution, Egyptians have maintained their customs and traditions that date back to the Pharaonic period.
