CAIRO – 13 November 2017: Egyptian Beatles-tribute band Glass Onion has announced on Sunday that they’ll be leading a concert in Jordan at Maestro Restaurant and Bar as their first regional experience.

Their first concert outside the borders of Egypt, Glass Onion was formed as a tribute band to the renowned Beatles who began as dedicated fans who perform respectful solo artists and musicians, songs for the Beatles that were produced from 1962 to 1970, according to their official Facebook page.

Established in 2010, The band has long played in several venues across the country including Bibliotheca Alexandria Arts Center (BA), Cairo Opera House, and independent music stream concerts such as London Sound.

Targeting the Beatles’ fans locally as a target, the band is comprised of vocalists Kareem El- Ghalid and Hany Mustafa on guitars,vocalist Amir Shawky on bass, and vocalist Magued Nagati on drums.

Glass Onion has previously led a joint performance with classical string ensemble Awtar Quartet at the Cairo Opera House last August.
