CAIRO - 20 August 2017: Sorour Project will perform at E'lbet Alwan on the night of Eid, August 31.
Mohammed Sorour is a young Egyptian musician who breaks the boundaries of music. He compliments his unique voice by mixing oriental Arabic music and folklore with western music such as jazz, rock, flamenco and other genres.

Sorour initiated his music project through three different stages. He started out with Saksonia "Full Oriental Instrumental Band." He later went solo and renamed his project under his name, 'Sorour Project,' where he collaborates with various musicians who have the same vision such as Sherine Abdo and Qarar Ezala.

The band consists of Mohammed Sorour, Moahmed al-Saeed, Nabeel Saeed, Muhamed Abdel Razek, and Belal Nawasra. His band has previously performed in various cultural venues in Egypt including Room Art Space, El Sawy Culture Wheel and Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA).

The ticket to his upcoming live show is LE 75 ($4.22).
