Grand Egyptian Museum to Offer Three Interactive Experiences Free of Charge on May 18

 

As part of the global celebrations marking International Museum Day on May 18, the Grand Egyptian Museum announced complimentary access to three of its immersive attractions for visitors throughout the day.

 

Guests will be able to explore the GEM Children’s Museum, take part in the Discovery Challenge, and experience the museum’s Mixed Reality adventure without paying the usual separate admission fees attached to these activities.

 

The initiative comes in line with the annual worldwide observance organized by museums and cultural institutions every year on May 18. Carrying the theme “Museums Uniting a Divided World,” this year’s edition focuses on the importance of museums in encouraging dialogue, connection, and cultural exchange.

 

Alongside the free experiences, the museum’s programme will feature entertainment events, hands-on workshops, and a range of interactive activities taking place across the venue.
