As part of preparations for the second Arab–China Summit and marking 70 years of diplomatic relations between Egypt and China, CGTN has announced a special artistic collaboration with Egyptian star Hussein Fahmy.
Fahmy has been selected to lead the upcoming film The Story I Found in China, which takes place across several major Chinese cities, including Beijing, Hangzhou, Suzhou, and Shenzhen. The story unfolds through narratives told by the protagonist, who also takes part in the events.

The film falls under the docudrama genre, blending real-life stories and characters with dramatized storytelling, combining factual documentation with a cinematic narrative style.
This collaboration comes as part of a broader effort to strengthen cultural and media exchange between China and the Arab world, spotlighting influential figures with strong public appeal and cultural impact.
