Ashraf Salman: “ The city of Al Alamien became one of the best touristic spots in the world.”

 

 

 

 

The second edition of Al Alamein Festival is packed with numerous concerts, sports competitions, and entertainment activities.

 

The largest entertainment event on the Mediterranean coast will kick off from July 11 to August 31, 2024.

 

 

At the beginning of his speech in Al Alamien Festival’s press conference, Ashraf Salman, Chairman of the Board of United Media Services said that given the current circumstances, the Alamein Festival has decided to launch its second edition under the slogan 'Alamein, the World,' raising the beloved Palestinian flag to flutter freely, with pride and dignity, alongside the Egyptian flag. 

 

Salman asked the attendees to stand one minute of silence for Palestinian martyrs.

" The city of Al Alamien became one of the best touristic spots in the world. This year, we have reached 15 million tourists, and with the political leadership and the 2030 Sustainable Development Plan, we hope to exceed 50 million tourists."

 

Chairman of the board of UMS explained that Egypt has a unique geographical location and a mild climate, and it deserves to be the primary destination and the main focus of international tourism.

 

“ We are graced to have this year Ahmed Amin heading Nabta for children because children are the future of  Egypt.” Salman said.

 

 

Salman asserted that Al Alamien city houses investments of over the 185 billion LE. “UMS continuously work to raise culture awareness. I would like to thank my colleagues, all the attendees and all the sponsors.

 

Salman added that Egypt will always remain the land of art, culture and science, hoping the second edition of Al Alamien Festival achieves unprecedented success.

 

 

“Al Alamein Festival, in its second edition , aims to attract tourists and spread Egyptian culture and art. Our Goal in UMS is to attract 50 million tourists to the Alamein Festival. Located in one of the most beautiful places on earth, the city of El Alamein is truly magical, and its beaches are unparalleled, found only in Egypt. It has been transformed from a former mine area into one of the most stunning places in the world.” Salman added.

 

 

United Media Services has announced that a public beach in El Alamein City will be allocated to accommodate and entertain people during the festival period. This initiative is being undertaken in cooperation with the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities as well as the El Alamein City Council.

 

The second edition of the Alamein Festival is scheduled to take place from July 11 to August 30. It will feature a wide range of artistic and sporting events, following the success of the festival's first edition last year.
