Famed Egyptian singer Abu won Hat-Rick of awards at the Global Music Awards for his song "The World is Blind".
 
“The World is Blind” is a plea song dedicated to Palestine.
 
 
The song won awards for ‘Best Male Vocal’, ‘Protest Song’, and ‘Best Composition.
 

“The World Is Blind” was written and composed by Dr. Tarek Nadim, with Mounir Maher on musical arrangements.
 
 

 
Abu is an Egyptian songwriter/ singer who gained acclaim for his street slick writing and his soft rock music.
 
 
Abu's song “Talat Dakkat” ranks the 1st trending video on YouTube after only five days from its release in September, 2017.
 
 
The song for every mood, “Talat Dakkat”, which gathered super stars of different generations, came on top of every playlist and a source of happiness to its listeners.
 
It all began and ended in Gouna, when Mohamed Abou El-Enien, known as Abu, met with the talented script writer Tamer Habib – coincidentally earlier in Gouna – and Abou introduced the idea to him. Four hours later, lyrics were ready to be composed.
 
Yousra’s participation in the song was Abu's wish, and when Tamer Habib called her, she didn’t express excitement. But as soon as she heard the lyrics, she fell in love with it.
 
When Naguib Sawiris heard the song, he insisted on shooting a video clip for it in its birthplace of El Gouna, advising people in different moods to listen to the song.
 
 
Abu described the atmosphere that they worked in with “A Loving Overflow”, saying that this explains why people feel love when they listen to it.
