CEO of United Media Services Amr El Feki said that “El Hashashin” (The Assassins) series documents an important and critical stage in the history of terrorist groups.

El Feki added that the Assassins were the first extremists who performed political assassinations.

In the 11th century in northern Persia, Hassan El Sabagh founded a group from the most loyal to the Ismaili community.

The group members were ready to sacrifice their lives to achieve their goal and struck terror into the hearts of their enemies from rulers and princes.

They were able to assassinate a number of influential figures at that time, forming the first secret terrorist group that was later called “El Hashashin.”

The group was known for its covert operations and political assassinations during the 11th century and played a significant role in the medieval Islamic world.

The highly anticipated series is directed by renowned director Peter Mimi and scripted by veteran writer Abdel Rahim Kamal.
