Egyptian stars Nelly Karim and Fathy Abdel Wahab will appear in the highly anticipated film “The Goat ”.
 
 
 
Egyptian star Amr Saad and American actor John Savage collaborate in the Egyptian international movie The Goat.
 
Beside Saad and Savage The Goat stars Mira Sorvino, Sayed Ragab, Jessica Hossam, Maya Talem and Arfah Abdulrasool.  The movie is directed by Ilaria Borrelli.
 
 
The Goat will participate in the 6th edition of El Gouna Film Festival, within the Official Selection - Out of Competition section.
 
 
El Gouna Film Festival is scheduled to take place from the 13th to the 20th of October, 2023.
 
The film tells the story of a young girl who becomes the target of a Western corporation's greed as they seek to control the only water source in her village.
 
 
Hadiya escapes into the desert with her goat on a dangerous journey in search of her father.
 
The Goat stars John Savage, Mira Sorvino, Amr Saad, Sayed Ragab, Jessica Hossam, Maya Talem, and Arfah Abdulrasool. The film is a co-production between Agora Media Production and Domedo Productions in collaboration with Orange Media, OSCAR Generale P.G.A, Cedars Art Production (Sabbah Brothers), and Pantheon Entertainment.
 
 
 
Blessed with the support of the Italian Ministry of Culture, the film is written and directed by Ilaria Borrelli.
 
 
 
 
 
Ilaria Borrelli is an award-winning writer, director, and actress. She started her artistic career as an actress but later shifted her focus to filmmaking. Her film A Girl from the Brothel is a notable milestone in her professional journey, winning the Best Film award at the Miami International Women's Film Festival and the Los Angeles International Women's Film Festival, in addition to touring a number of international film festivals such as the Madrid International Film Festival and the Victoria Film Festival. Her projects have received acclaim from the United Nations and support from the UNICEF.
