File: Sharmoofers band gave a dazzling performance in the closing concert of New Alamien Festival.
The activities of New Alamein Festival for the summer season 2023, concluded on Saturday in New Alamein City.
The festival, which was held from July 13 to September 2, witnessed many sports, cultural and entertainment events, which achieved overwhelming success at the level of organization and activities included in the festival.
All the activities that were held throughout the days of the festival amassed great success, and witnessed a remarkable audience attendance from the beginning of the festival till the end.
United Media Services ( UMS) confirmed that the New Alamein Festival, whose first edition was held under the slogan “ El Alam Alamein” ( The World Is Alamein) had achieved impressive success at all levels.
UMS thanked all the state agencies, which provided all the needed facilities and harnessed their capabilities to organize the festival in a way that befits the name of Egypt.
United Media Services also thanked the government represented by Ministry of Housing Utilities and Urban Communities, Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Youth and Sports.
United Media Services also thanked its staff and the employees in its affiliated companies for their efforts during the last period, which contributed to the proper organization of New Alamein Festival.
UMS also thanked the festival sponsors including National Bank of Egypt, City Edge Developments, Telecom Egypt, Ezz Steel company, as well as the success partners including Bee group، DS+، POD، Next ، Itous security ، Tazkarti، Arabia outdoors، Counsel masters، dino, highlights, Regal Heights Hotel and Tolip North Coast Hotel.
The activities of New Alamein Festival extended for more than a month and a half, witnessed the participation of large number of audience which contributed to placing the New Alamein Festival on the map of international events, and promoted New Alamein City in line with the Egyptian state’s vision.
New Alamein City was established from day one as a giant city on the Mediterranean coast reflecting how Egyptian government succeeded in a short period of time to transform New Alamein City into a charming spot with the best view on the Mediterranean coast, with a global level of design and implementation, in an effort to make New Alamein city the most important international touristic city, within the government continuous plans for development.
The festival aimed to promote various investment opportunities New Alamein City, which contributed to providing more job opportunities, promoting cultural and entertainment activities in the country, and providing a fun and unique summer experience for visitors, which represents an addition to the aspects of cultural and entertainment life in Egypt.
New Alamein Festival kicked off with a beach soccer tournament on July 13 and an explosive Teq Ball Tournament Featuring world-class star Natalia Guitler
The beach soccer tournament witnessed the participation of more than 40 acclaimed soccer players at the local and the international levels.
A triathlon race was also held in the festival consisting of 3 sports "swimming - cycling - running", all of which are Olympic games.
An international paddle championship, RC plane shows, an international beach soccer championship, a car race, and a JET SKIS CHALLENGE were also organized.
The New Alamien Festival activities included a fashion show by Michael Cinco, and concerts for a notable group of stars in the Arab world, including the great musician Omar Khairat, Elissa, Tamer Hosny, Ragheb Alama, Nancy Ajram, Angham ,Cairokee band, Ahmed Saad, Medhat Saleh, Reham Abdelhakim, Massar Egbari band, Hakim, Hamid El Shaieri, Mohamed Mounir, Elissa, Tamer Ashour, the American rapper Russ, Mahmoud El Leithy, and a full house concert of Wegz.
The New Alamein Festival also witnessed the launch of the first edition of Starscapers awards along with the second edition of Cairo Drama Festival.
