CAIRO – 14 July 2017: Afronobia local band will bring their distinctive fusion of reggae and African jazz with Nubian musical heritage to Zamalek’s 3elbt Alwan on Monday at 8 p.m.
The colorful Nubian style is to be relived through a spectrum of tunes mixed with African music to bring the Nubian culture in the heart of Cairo.

Afronobia band was founded in January 2014, gathers a group of young musicians united by the love of southern music, which starts from Nubia going through Africa meeting the Caribbean, the origins of Reggae.
The band presents a mix of music combining Nubian, Egyptian and African heritage. “Never Forget Your Roots” is their main slogan. In their work, they call for fighting discrimination in music.
