Director Ahmed Abdalla El-Sayed began filming his film Villa 19B, produced by Film Clinic, at one of Cairo's old villas in Heliopolis district, with a high-wattage cast that includes Sayed Ragab, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Nahed El Sebai, Nabil Nour El Deen, Fadwa Abed, and Abdelaziz Makhyoun. This is the director’s third collaboration with Film Clinic, after Microphone (2011) and Rags & Tatters (2013).

The film's events take place in an old villa abandoned by its inhabitants decades ago, where an elderly guard lives a pretty normal life, isolated from the madness world around him until he is forced to confront a confrontation that alters his life.

Ahmed Abdalla El-Sayed began his career as an editor on many indie films, including Al Ghaba in 2008 and Ein Shamsin 2009, before making his directorial debut with Heliopolis, which landed its world premiere at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival.

Through his films, Ahmed established a successful formula in the filmmaking industry by blending independent cinema with commercial market dynamics as his films feature A-list stars; Ahmed’s films, such as Exterior/Night in 2018 and Decor in 2014, have both accomplished the aesthetic and economic success.
