Thriller film ‘See For Me’ releases in Egyptian Cinemas

The life of a visually impaired former Olympic skier is dependent on a mobile application that she uses to combat three thieves who broke into her home, this is the storyline of the home invasion thriller film See For Me, which will be released in Egyptian theaters on Wednesday, January 26, through AFD.

Despite the assistance of her friend as a guide for her in the future Olympic Games, Sophie abandons her hopes of being an Olympic ski champion after getting an eye ailment that causes blindness. Instead, she is house-sitting and caring for a cat owned by a wealthy family in a secluded mansion to make her living and while the owners of the mansion are away, Sophie is attacked by three thieves who are seeking to steal a hidden safe.

Sophie's only defence is a blind-friendly smartphone application called See For Me, which connects her to Kelly, who helps her survive by seeing on her behalf. However, her struggle with the thieves becomes more fierce when the phone's charging battery dies, cutting off the communication between Sophie and Kelly and putting Sophie's life in peril.

Directed by Randall Okita and written by Adam Yorke as well as Tommy Gushue, the film See For Me is starring Skyler DavenportJessica Parker KennedyLaura VandervoortMatthew GouveiaEmily PiggfordKim Coates, and Joe Pingue.
