CAIRO – 3 January 2022: The plastic artist, Tarek Sharara, is putting the final touches to his first exhibition, "Colors & Strings", which will be held from January 20 to 28, at the Cairo Opera House’s Salah Taher Hall for Fine Arts .

Although Sharara has achieved successes and won awards and honors as a radio presenter, and a soundtrack producer for the most famous Egyptian films, his passion for drawing did not fall on him suddenly like an artistic whim, it rather accompanied him from childhood.

Sharara had previously won an award at the Cairo Salon for Pioneers in 1962. He also won medals at plastic arts competitions of Cairo University, as well as competitions of the Faculty of Law.

His love for drawing and music intertwined in his heart, but music has prevailed for a long while and has hidden his talent in drawing and plastic art from many. The great artist Mohamed Taha Hussein is the first to be credited for the growth of Sharara’s talent.
