Cairo’s Opera House to host "An Egyptian Man - The Artist's Book” art exhibition for Ahmed Refaat on Dec. 14

CAIRO – 13 December 2021: On December 14 at 7 p.m., Head of the Plastic Arts Sector Khaled Sorour will inaugurate an art exhibition for artist Ahmed Refaat, in the Al-Bab Hall of Cairo’s Opera House under the title "An Egyptian Man - The Artist's Book”.

Ahmed Refaat has studies on the organic potential of paper pulp in formation and artistic expression and contributed to the development of the project to protect the environment from pollution in the city of Mokattam.

Refaat is a member of a number of paper artists’ associations, including the Paper Artists Association in Europe and participated in the 10th Venice International Biennale of Architecture.

Moreover, Refaat held exhibitions and participations in Egypt, America, Italy, Tashkent and Saudi Arabia.
