CAIRO – 1 December 2021: The General Egyptian Book Organization is seeking to spread the idea by holding fairs in new cities, so that books are available nationwide.

 

 

 

 

The organization will also work on disseminating the idea of the "Your Book Kiosk" initiative in all villages of the Decent Life presidential initiative.

 

 

 

 

Haitham Al-Hajj Ali, head of the General Egyptian Book Organization, said that he hopes to generalize the experience in all new cities, in cooperation with the New Urban Communities Authority, pointing to the authority's coordination with the heads of city agencies in this regard.

 

 

 

 

Ali added that the organization is fully prepared to cooperate with any serious real estate developer, to transfer the experience to new cities in order to encourage reading and spread culture in various places.

 

 

 

 

He also noted that GEBO is coordinating with the New Urban Communities Authority to hold frequent exhibitions. This is in addition to signing cooperation protocols with the heads of a number of agencies, to organize these exhibitions soon.

 

 

 

 

Moreover, Ali confirmed that the “Your Book Kiosk” initiative is an experiment that will tour all the villages of the Decent Life initiative, to provide books on a permanent basis to remote villages or villages being developed.
