Culturama on Egypt’s ancient, modern history to be held throughout October in celebration of October Victories

CAIRO – 4 October 2021: The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, through Al-Sennari House and the Center for Documentation of Civilized and Natural Heritage, will organize heritage panorama shows [culturama] under the title “Egypt, the Cradle of Civilization and the Land of Heroes.”

 

 

 

The shows will take place on Mondays and Tuesdays from October 4 to October 26 at 7 p.m.

 

 

 

The shows tell the history of Egypt through the ages. It is a journey in time and space that sheds light on the history of ancient and modern Egypt.

 

 

 

The life story of former President Mohamed Anwar El-Sadat, "the hero of war and peace", will be presented on the occasion of the October victories, with an explanation of how the Egyptian heroes could regain the land and achieve victory in the glorious October War.

 

 

 

The papyri of Exodus (Book of the Dead), which is the oldest book in nature, death and resurrection, will also be displayed. It includes texts of funerary literature of Egyptian prayers, invocations, praises and magical spells, accompanied by drawings.

 

 

 

Also, a presentation on the most important kings and rulers, and their achievements will be given, starting with King Narmer, who united Upper and Lower Egypt. This is in addition to a presentation on one of the most important and oldest trips in history; the trip to the country of Punt, which Queen Hatshepsut was keen to have documented on the walls of her temple on the western mainland.

 

 

 

It is worth mentioning that the Heritage Panorama, known as Culturama, is an interactive presentation prepared by the Cultural and Natural Heritage Documentation Center.

 

 

 

Culturama has won many awards. It was also patented by the Ministry of State for Scientific Research in 2007, and it allows displaying multiple layers of data.
