CAIRO – 18 August 2021: On August 18, many important events took place.

 

 

Important world events:

 

 

1807 - The first voyage of a regular steamer, invented by American engineer Robert Felton, inaugurated the era of mechanically propelled navigation.

 

 

1920 - A meeting was held between the Egyptian delegation, led by Saad Zaghloul, and the British delegation to formulate a way for recognizing Egypt's independence.
