US Embassy in Cairo to organize meeting with American writer Michael David Lukas on June 8

CAIRO – 6 June 2021: On June 8 at 6 p.m., the US Embassy in Cairo is organizing, through its official Facebook page, an open meeting in Arabic and English with American writer Michael David Lukas.

Lukas’ second novel, The Last Watchman of Old Cairo, won the 2018 National Jewish Book Award, the 2019 Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish Literature, in addition to the 2019 American Library Association Sophie Brody Award.

It is worth noting that Lukas is best known for his internationally bestselling novel, The Oracle of Stamboul, published by Harper Collins. It was translated into over a dozen languages.
