Dollar prices stable at major Egyptian banks

CAIRO - 21 May 2019: The exchange rate of the US dollar was relatively stable during Tuesday transactions at major banks, recording a retreat by more than 89 piasters since the beginning of 2019, according to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The dollar exchange rate settled at LE 16.97 for buying and LE 17.07 for selling at the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, Alexandria Bank, Arab African International Bank, and Suez Canal Bank.

At the National Bank of Greece, it went down by one piaster to record LE 16.97 for buying and LE 17.07 for selling.

The rate stood at LE 16.96 for buying and LE 17.06 for selling at Commercial International Bank and Bank Audi.
