CAIRO, April 30 (MENA) - Trade Minister Amr Nassar said Tuesday Egypt is keen on boosting cooperation with all funding institutions with the aim to upgrade the trade and industry sectors.

This is done through shared expertise and advanced international technologies, Nassar said in a statement.

He was speaking after emerging from a meeting with a delegation from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) earlier today.

Nassar unveiled a number of cooperation programs between his Ministry and the IFC, which aim to hone the competitiveness of trade and industrial sectors in Egypt.

The programs are also meant to increase the value added of Egyptian products to be able to compete on local, regional and international markets, the minister added.

The meeting with the IFC delegation took up existing and future IFC projects in Egypt.
