CAIRO - 2 November 2018: Ukrainian ambassador to Egypt Hennadii Latii praised Friday the successful visit paid by Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr to Kiev, where she co-chaired with her Ukrainian counterpart the 7th session of the Egyptian-Ukrainian economic committee.

Speaking to MENA, Latii said the meeting culminated in the signing of a protocol for the committee’s works and two MoUs between Ukraine's Odyssey and Egypt's Alexandria and Damietta ports.

They also agreed on holding the 8th session of the Egyptian-Ukranian economic committee in 2019, he added.

Nasr also met representatives of 11 major Ukrainian companies, who are seeking to tap the Egyptian market, Latii said.

Beefing up Egypt's investments in Ukraine was also discussed, the diplomat added.
