CAIRO – 28 May 2017: Egypt’s banks will start to apply Ramadan working hours set by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) on Sunday, beginning from 9:30 a.m. local time (0730 GMT) till 1:30 p.m.
Staffers at the 38 banks working across the country will start their work at 9:00 a.m. local time and end at 2:00 p.m., the CBE announced in a Wednesday statement.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) announced last week that its trading would start at 10:00 a.m. till 1:30 p.m. during the holy month of Ramadan.
