Sisi approves $40M OPEC loan agreement

CAIRO - 25 May 2017: President Abel Fatah el-Sisi approved a $40 million loan agreement signed between Egyptian Government and Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, according to the official newspaper (Al-Waqa'i`a al-Masriya) on Thursday.

This comes as part of funding the second phase of the Social Development Fund project. Sisi also announced the implementation of a water treatment plant in Alexandria’s Montazah area and five feddans of state lands that will be used to construct a youth center and sports court in New Valley governorate.
