AOI chairman discusses promoting coop. with Portugal

CAIRO - 7 June 2018: Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) Abdel Aziz Seif el Din reviewed with Ambassador of Portugal to Egypt Madalena Fischer ways to promote cooperation between the two countries.

This came during a visit of Fischer and her accomapnying delegation to the AOI premises with a view to opening new horizons for industrial cooperation, as both sides discussed issues of mutual concern in different domains, including civil, military, communication and technology ones.

Seif el Din stressed the necessity to make use of the Portuguese expertise in several modern industrial fields and expounded the AOI's potentials in the fields of communication, tablet PC production, water treatment and aircraft maintenance.

He also hailed Portugal’s development experiment, which is similar to Egypt’s steps to achieve economic reform.

Fischer said it is important to increase cooperation with AOI that provides high-quality products, which matches international quality standards, and contributes to many development and national projects currently carried out in Egypt.
