Egyptian-Russian industrial city project to be announced during Putin visit

SHARM EL SHEIKH - 9 December 2017: Russian President Vladimir Putin will witness the signing of an agreement to establish an Egyptian-Russian industrial city in the Suez Canal area during his upcoming visit to Egypt, said Chairman of the Egyptian-European Business Council Mohamed Abul Enein on Saturday.

Abul Enein added that the Putin's scheduled to arrive to Egypt on Monday.

Speaking on the fringe of the Africa 2017 forum which is currently held , Abul Enein touched upon what he called big political support for industry in the current stage.

He stressed the need to outline plans to build specialized industrial zones along the Suez Canal Corridor.
