Sisi sheds light on diversifying energy resources

PARIS - 26 October 2017: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received in Paris on Thursday chief executive of Électricité de France (Electricity of France) company Jean-Bernard Lévy.

Presidential spokesman Alaa Yousef said the president asserted during the meeting that Egypt gives priority to diversifying the resources of energy to meet the growing needs of electricity necessary in the industry domain.

President Sisi expressed hope for increasing the French company's investments in Egypt, said the spokesman, adding that Lévy reviewed the projects his company intends to launch in Egypt, especially in exploring for gas as well as solar energy activities.
