CAIRO – 28 August 2017: The U.S. dollar exchange rate slightly declined against the Egyptian pound in Monday’s morning banking transactions.

The exchange rate of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) for the U.S. dollar recorded LE 17.66 for buying and LE 17.76 for selling, slightly down from LE 17.67 for buying and LE 17.77 for selling on Sunday.

The euro exchange rate inched up to LE 21.06 for buying and LE 21.18 for selling, compared to LE 20.86 for buying and LE 20.98 for selling in Sunday transactions.

Meanwhile, the GBP (British Pound) went up to LE 22.76 for buying and LE 22.89 for selling, compared to LE 22.67 for buying and LE 22.80 for selling in the latest banking transactions.

As for the Arab currencies, the Saudi Riyal stabilized at LE 4.7104 for buying and LE 4.736 for selling, according to the CBE.

The Kuwaiti dinar recorded LE 58.52 for buying and LE 58.86 for selling and the Emirati Dirham registered LE 4.80 for selling and LE 4.83 for buying.
