25K jobs in massive commercial area on Cairo-Alex agr. road

CAIRO - 9 July 2023: Some 25,000 job opportunities will be available in a massive commercial area on Cairo-Alexandria agricultural road at L.E. 10 billion in investments.

The location of 96 acres is on the outskirts of Damanhoir city in Beheira governorate. The Cairo-Alexandria agricultural road is a frequented road, and with the new project it might reduce traffic on the busier Cairo-Alexandria desert road.

It will host markets, restaurants, agencies, and service centers.

The new project also includes a hotel, sports stadiums, shopping centers, sales outlets for factory products, exhibition spaces, a hypermarket, and service activities that include closed and open storage yards, refrigeration and freezing stores, sorting, packaging activities, activities for wholesale and half-wholesale trade, commodity exchanges, and living and recreational supplies for its employees. 

The logistics area in Damanhur city is divided into three sectors:

Area “A” on an area of 47 acres with investments of L.E. 5 billion includes Carrefour hyper market, car showrooms, agricultural tools, food courts, cinemas, and entertainment venues.

Area “B” on an area of 15.5 acres with investments of L.E.3 billion pounds includes Kazyon Stores, drug stores, and Natgas Company.

Area “C” on 26 acres with investments worth L.E. 3 billion pounds. It includes “a wholesale market, a sports club, a hospital, a gas station, a hotel, a mill, and a fish products factory.
