48 ships transit Suez Canal

ISMAILIA - Egypt - 17 July 2017: Forty-eight ships transited the Suez Canal on Monday, with a total cargo of 2.8 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 23 vessels carrying around 1.4 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 25 ships carrying about 1.4 million tons, according to statistics of the Suez Canal Authority.
