CAIRO, Nov 20 (MENA) - Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tareq el Molla chaired the Egyptian delegation taking part in the 18th summit of the International Organization of Francophonie (OIF) currently held in the Tunisian island of Djerba, on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

The summit is attended by more than 33 heads of state and government, as well as 80 representatives of regional and international organizations.

Molla met with Tunisian President Kais Saied and conveyed a message from President Sisi that stresses Egypt's support for the reforms introduced by the Tunisian leader, according to a statement released by the Petroleum Ministry on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the oil minister held a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, who lauded Egypt's successful hosting of the UN Climate Change Conference, COP27, in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm El Sheikh.
