Egypt to sign 13 important agreements in railways, metro trains, maritime transport during Trans MEA 2021

CAIRO – 7 November 2021: The Egyptian Ministry of Transport announced Sunday the start of the activities of the “Trans MEA 2021” smart transport exhibition and conference, tomorrow morning, Monday.

 

The activities will include signing 13 important agreements in the field of railways, metro trains, and maritime transport, according to a spokesman of the Ministry of Transport, Mohamed Ezz.

 

Ezz confirmed that the exhibition will be inaugurated by , the Minister of Transport,Kamel Al-Wazir, followed by speeches by the heads of international and local companies.

 

A seminar on the railways entitled ‘The Role of the Railways in Achieving Comprehensive Development’, will also be held in the presence of the Minister of Transport and heads of major international companies such as (German Sims, Spanish CAF, and American Caterpillar Inc).

 

Ezz added that another seminar entitled “Towards sustainable transport systems” will be held in which heads of major international companies specialized in transport systems will participate.

 

Ministers of Transport and Finance Kamel El-Wazir and Mohamed Maait, Head of economic Zone of the Suez Canal, Yehya Zaki and President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, Ismail Abdel Ghaffar will participate in a seminar entitled Smart Digital Ports and ACI Systems.
