"The president initiated to deal with the crisis and its repercussions with all means, taking all necessary measures to control the situation and secure citizens, ending by his recent directives to suspend studies, postpone exams, and start working on providing vaccines,” al-Gameel said.
The prominent businessman added that “Sisi supported the economy by allocating 100 billion EGP to deal with the repercussions of the epidemic, directing financial grants to irregular workers and those who work in the tourism sector, in addition to ordering banks and state institutions to provide benefits and facilities to citizens, and all these measures contributed to reducing the severity of the crisis on thousands of families”
Sisi’s directions to the government to look for the best offers of the most effective coronavirus vaccines developed by the international companies proves his great concern in the file and its permanent follow-up, al-Gameel said.
On Saturday, Sisi has assigned the donation-based national fund “Tahya Misr” to help secure coronavirus vaccine doses to priority groups, including medical teams.
Priority groups also include critical cases, people suffering from chronic diseases and older people
