CAIRO – 6 July 2020: Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al Sisi mourned Monday through his official Facebook page the death of Lieutenant General Mohammed al Assar who died earlier today after suffering from health problems.
“Egypt has lost today a statesman of great national value, which is Lieutenant General Mohamed Al-Assar - Minister of State for Military Production - who passed away today,” read al Sisi’s statement.
Al Assar assumed office as the minister of Military production in 2015.
