1,470 stranded Egyptians leave Kuwait on board 9 flights

KUWAIT CITY, July 5 (MENA) - Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said Sunday 1,470 stranded Egyptians left Kuwait to Cairo, Sohag and Assiut governorates on board nine flights.

A statement issued by the CAA, a copy of which obtained by MENA said, the flights included four ferrying 630 Egyptians to Sohag, three with 510 Egyptians heading to Cairo and two carrying 330 Egyptians to Assiut.

The flights were organized by Kuwait Airways, Air Cairo, Air Arabia Egypt, Kuwait Jazeera Airways and FlyEgypt.

On Saturday 745 Egyptians stuck in limbo left Kuwait to Cairo and Sohag on board 5 flights.
