BAGHDAD, July 4 (MENA) - The southern Iraqi governorate of Dhi Qar on Saturday registered 132 new coronavirus cases, according to an Iraqi medical source.

Up to 22 fatalities have been reported in the governorate, bringing the death toll from the virus in the country to 2,262, Alsumaria news channel quoted the source as saying.

According to the latest tally by the Ministry of Health, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Iraq has reached 56,020, while the recoveries hit 29,600.
