Burj Khalifa lights up red in solidarity with China over coronavirus

ABU DHABI, Feb 3 (MENA) - Burj Khalifa, one of the UAE's most famous landmarks, lit up on Sunday evening in solidarity with China over the coronavirus.

The outbreak was first reported in December in the Chinese city of Wuhan and the disease has spread, infecting about 14,380 people and killing at least 304.

The skyscraper in Dubai was illuminated red and gold, the colors of the Chinese flag.

The UAE said it is confident China will be able to contain and control the spread of the new virus.
