CAIRO – 15 June 2017: Qatar’s ambassador to Egypt, Saif Muqaddam Al-Buainein returned from Doha via Kuwait to Cairo this morning to carry out his duties as Qatar’s delegate to the Arab League, security sources at the Airport said Thursday.

The ambassador taking on the duties of Qatar’s delegate to the Arab league comes after the decision taken by Ministry of Foreign Affairs to cut diplomatic ties with Qatar.

On June 6, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Buainein that he had 48 hours to leave the country, and an
