Egypt's prosecutor general attends Euro-Med forum

CAIRO, Feb 1 (MENA) - Egypt's Prosecutor General Nabil Ahmed Sadeq has attended the Euro-Med Forum of Prosecutors General in the Hague.

Sadeq, who led a delegation of the public prosecution and the ministry of justice, reviewed before the event Egypt's efforts to counter using cyberspace in terrorism, money laundering and crimes.

He had bilateral meetings with his counterparts of the participating countries on the sidelines of the the forum, which was hosted by the European Union's Judicial Cooperation Unit (Eurojust).

It was held under the auspices of EuroMed Justice IV (2016-2019), an EU-funded project that contributes to the development of a Euro-Mediterranean area of cooperation in the field of justice and the development of effective, efficient and democratic justice systems that protect and promote human rights.
