Egypt slams coup attempt in Gabon

CAIRO - 7 January 2019: Egypt strongly condemned on Monday the coup attempt in Gabon.

Egypt reiterates its support for the legitimate authority in the friendly African country of Gabon in line with the principles governing the African Union (AU), said a statement released by the Foreign Ministry.

Egypt further urged respecting the constitution and law
