KUWAIT CITY - 22 September 2018: Egypt's Ambassador to Kuwait Tarek Al Koni has called on Kuwaiti youth and distinguished young people specialized in entrepreneurship, arts and cultural domains to participate in the second edition of the World Youth Forum, that will be held in Sharm el Sheikh during the period November 2 to 6.

The Egyptian ambassador said that the conference represents an international forum that brings together a selection of the world youth, to present their ideas with an aim to issue recommendations and initiatives in the presence of leaders and intellectuals from all over the world.

Koni told MENA on Saturday that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi launched the first edition of the conference in Sharm El Sheikh in 2017, with the aim of enhancing dialogue and understanding between cultures and civilizations to promote coexistence values.

The Egyptian Embassy here is in contact with Kuwaiti authorities to guarantee a unique Kuwaiti participation in the conference, Koni said.

He pointed out that the conference has received applications from more than 35,000 young people who are willing to attend the forum from 156 countries worldwide, noting that the conference will bear costs of their participation.
