FM: Egypt to seriously go on with uprooting terrorism

CAIRO - 11 February 2018: Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry asserted that the sacrifices of the Egyptian Armed Forces and police in the battle against terrorism and the operations which are being carried out as part of "Sinai 2018" have given a clear-cut evidence that Egypt is a country of principles whose declared stances comply with its actual intentions.

The minister's remarks were posted on his Facebook page on Sunday.

He said "We announced our intention to uproot terrorism from our country and we will go on seriously towards achieving this target."

The foreign minister called on the international community to adopt a serious strategy to eradicate such malicious phenomenon, urging Egypt's partners to take a similar action.
